Today we stopped by Epcot to check out some of the new things going on, like the Leave a Legacy monolith removal and we also wanted to check out some of the Guardians of the Galaxy food offerings at the Liberty Inn restaurant in the World Showcase.
Leave A Legacy Monoliths Removed

The first thing we saw today was the giant Leave a Legacy monoliths have been removed from one side of the Epcot entrance.
New Bo Peep Sheep Plush and Disney Snacks Backpacks at Mouse Gear
Our next stop was Mouse Gear to see if any new merchandise had been released. We found a new Bo Peep Sheep plush and a new backpack with Disney snacks on it.

Guardians of the Galaxy Construction
Next up, checking the progress of the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster construction.

Epcot JAMMitors
The JAMMitors were performing nearby so we were able to catch a show on the way to our next stop.

Toy Story Characters Topiaries
Over near Mouse Gear, close to Test Track, you can find a nice display of topiaries of Toy Story characters.

Troll Horn at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe
We’ve heard good things about the Troll Horn pastry in the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion, so we stopped there next.

There are so many yummy choices here!

The troll horn is made of sugar coated puff pastry and has orange marmalade cream on the inside. It was very good! The price is $4.49.
France Pavilion Merchandise
The rest of the World Showcase wasn’t open yet, so we walked back around to the other side of the World Showcase and stopped in the France Pavilion to check out the merchandise.

This Minnie Mouse coffee mug is so cute! One side looks like a purse and has a bow and the other side has Minnie Mouse with her perfume.
They also had some adorable floral dresses for little girls. The dresses don’t have any Disney characters on them, they’re just really cute 🙂

World Showcase Construction
There’s some construction going on between the France and Morocco Pavilions.

Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Plate and Awesome Mix Slushy
Our next stop was the Liberty Inn and Fife & Drum for the Guardians of the Galaxy food. We tried the Awesome Mix Plate and the Awesome Mix Slushy. Both were very good. Give them a try if you get the chance.

The Awesome Mix Plate is french fries topped with macaroni and cheese, barbecued pulled pork, bacon pieces and lettuce. The price is $11.99.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Slushy is $8.25 and comes with a glow cube. My 3 year old assures me that her drink tasted better just because of the glow cube 🙂
The slushy flavors are blue raspberry, strawberry and Minute Maid lemonade.
That’s all for our Epcot photo journal for today. Stay tuned for more!
